KO Movie Review_Must Watch

yesterday night I watched "Ko" and felt really satisfied that I saw this movie without reading any review and without any expectations.....( so im not going to reveal the Storyline of the movie). will share just the good qualities of this movie.

this movie is one of the best movies released in recent times in tamil Cinema...I could easily relate it to " Mudhalvan" but with an improved Cinematography and relavant to these days. The cinematography of this movie is the best which one can expect in an Indian movie.

Directed by K.V. Anand and produced by Udaya Nidhi Stalin ( you will be surprised why he took this story) this one of the great movies timed at the right time after Elections. Yes, the subject of the movie is "Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu". Jeeva's best performance and best opportunity in his career. Karthika (daughter of Radha) made her Tamil debut in this movie. She is so beautiful that she has all beauty to become the next Simran of Tamil Cinema. She is simply so so hot...!!! Ajmal Ameer has done a important role in this movie and given the "life" to the fast paced second half. Especially the dialogue delivery in the climax scene.

There are 4 different highlights of this movie apart from the Subject and Songs( 2 songs are super hit). Cinematography, Climax, Screenplay and the performance of Jeeva and Ajmal. Cinematography - No wonder K.V. Anand himself a Cinematographer has created a new benchmark for the Tamil Movies. Climax - This climax gives a nail bitting finish to the fast paced and intense movie. Screenplay - Right from the start of the movie till the Interval break the movie goes fast and you feel that this is going to have good 2nd half and when you comeback for the 2nd half the movie has many twists and turns. Believe me, who cannot predict the suspense the movie creates and the Climax as well.
Ajmal and Jeeva has done justice to the hard work by K.V. Anand. Ajmal needs special mention.

Negatives : I could hardly see any negatives in this movie. In some scenes Jeeva breaks some logic to take photos but its OK.

Rating : 4.5 out of 5.

Must Must Watch for all Tamil Movie Fans.

Maapillai Remake_ Movie Review

Saw this Tamil Movie after 2 months of break. After Aadukalam - "a Classic" Dhanush has turned towards a Complete Masala remake of Rajni's Blockbuster reducing the seriousness of the earlier version and concentrating only on the Comedy aspect.

Vivek's comedy at the start and at the end is the highlight and you would enjoy each and every scene Vivek appears in the screen. Vivek has comeback strongly in this movie realising the levels Santhanam has set in the field nowadays.

Apart from Vivek's comedy there is nothing special about Maapillai remake. Dhanush as usual has done his part beautifully but Manisha Koiralla does not fit into this role even in a single scene. Waste of Time and effort !!! Apart from comedy the movie is "silly " . Songs (except Ennoda rasi), fight, serious dialogues and romance (total waste romance) these all dont have any impact in this remake.

Just go and enjoy the comedy !!

+ : Vivek and Comedy

- : Everything except comedy
